Burnsville High 1 has a gr:oup of five such organiz-ing people who are led by our principal, Mr. Howard Hall. Their quest is to unite the school's func-tions into a workable state. When things go wrong it is Mr. Hall's responsibility to correct them. Thanks are due to the man who has kept our school from com-plete chaos. In attempting to meet educational requirements many students took science courses. Group paced as well as self-paced biology, chemistry, and physics were the basic forms of science offered. Personal involvement through experiments led to a deeper understanding of the basic concepts of science. C. Brickner T.Cain J. Hatlestad R. Heunisch J. McKisson J. O'Connell B.Auge R. Barbeau P. The Phys-ed department -put its new facility to its best use by offering a wide variety of classes to the students to choose from. One great asset of the new gym was its ability to change to meet the current needs of the student body. It has a good basketball court with a large seating capac-ity. For classes ·during the school day, the folding doors were retracted and there was room for three large classes to meet at the same time completely separate from each other. Such classes as Volleyball, Racquetba ll, Team HandbalLand many other varieties of classes were· taught in the gym during the school year. R. Fystom J. Goggin . -• • ·ii . -.. - 1f ;, P. Lundin 8.
