DECEMBER: Christmas Concert "Joyeux Noel" with chorus MARCH: St. Paul Park Concert; Tour to Decorah, Iowa postponed because of blizzard; Winter Concert postponed because of blizzard; Winter Concert with Dr. Bencriscutto as guest conductor, "Finale to Shostakcvitch's Fifth Symphony"; Concert at St. Paul Park postponed because of blizzard. APRIL: Concert at St. Paul Park; The band and twenty solos and ensembles received "A" ratings at the Dis -trict Contest. MAY: The band, the drum ensemble, the trumpet trio, Dave Gelvick, Ray Peterson, Sue Askelin, Liz Gray, Colette Berge, and Bruce Cody received "A" ratings at the state contest; Several recording ses-During the school year the band sions for the band's record; Spring Concert and Art praticed very early every morning. BA HA SA This year the school newspaper, the BaHaSa, was put out by the journalism class and was supervised by Mrs. Veld-man. The first issue came out in time for Homecoming and there were three other issues which followed. '7n 1964-65 CONCERT CHORUS SEPTEMBER: Auditions NOVEMBER: Conference Festival at Simely DECEMBER: Concerts at WCCO and the First National Bank; Christmas Concert "Joyeux Noel" FEBRUARY: Eighteen schools from District 14 came to BHS for the Distr ict Chorus Festi-val. It was directed by Don Craig from Ithica, New York. APRIL: The Chorus, the Madrigal Group, and six soloists, Linda Swanson, Sandy Qualley, Stephanie Johnson, Jim Nordstrom, Guy Lankey, and Steve Johnson, received "A" ratings at the District Contest. Tour--Grove City, Cam-bridge, and Kellog; The Chorus, Madrigal Group, and Guy Lankey received "A" ratings at the State Contest. MAY: Spring Concert "Serenade to Spring" JUNE: Summer chorus program began 80 Mr. Squires, the darling dimpled director. The chorus was host for this year's District 14 Chorus Festival. Larry Milam, a senior, contributed much as Presi-dent of the club. Our biggest money making project was the selling of balloons at a home basketball game.
