The Aqua Belles, Burnsville's first syn-chronized swim club, consisted of sixteen girls this year, who practiced on availa ble Monday nights. Some new skill or stunt was introduced at each session with review drills for improving control, form, and endurance. The year ended in a show, "Suddenly It's Spring", combining numbers from the boy's swim team with skills and routines by the Aqua Belles. Mrs. Elmer Nordstrom coached the club in their first year.
