Windmill Cafe opens for business 1972March 16, 1972 Burnsville Sun

The Windmill Cafe, located next door to Allen's Mobil Station on Highway 13, officially opened for business last week. According to Floyd and Lorraine Nelson, cafe operators, the Windmill will be open from 3:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Effective April 1, the cafe will be open on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The cafe, with seating capacity of 65, features home cooked meals. Mrs. Lorraine Rosenow, a Prior Lake resident who worked at the Embassy for six years, is now assisting with the cooking duties...
