An artist with rising national statue who combines superb technical prowess with a fine sense of humor. His unique characterizations of everyday people create prints appealing to all who encounter them. Metcalf School getting ready for school year 2017 An upgrade long-planned as part of Vision One91 is finally taking place at middle schools in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191.

While students were away on break, furniture that’s been in the schools for 30 years or more wasreplaced with modern tables and chairs to create more flexible learning environments that will support new ways of teaching and learning similar to what is already in place at Burnsville High School. Vision One91 is a redesign of the district to meet the needs of today’s (and tomorrow’s) learners.

Metcalf Middle School was the first to receive the new furniture. Similar changes will take place at Nicollet and Eagle Ridge middle schools this year during upcoming academic breaks. Photo compliments of Independent School District 191.
