Abdallah Candy outgrows building 1996The Burnsville This Week/Dakota County Tribune December 15, 1996 reports that Abdallah plans to build a 35,000 square foot manufacturing and retail facility on County Road 42 and Burnsville Parkway which will double the space in which the companies 60 employees produce some 200 varieties of candy.

Abdallah Candies history 2017Pages 20 - 21. Abdallah Candies was founded in 1909 by a Lebanese immigrants Albert and wife Helen Trovall. They opened a storefront at the corner of Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis. In 1966 they opened a new facility and gift shop in Burnsville and after expanding sales nationwide, they expanded moving to Co.Rd.42.

The story of Abdallah was published In the Experience Burnsville's 30th Anniversary booklet. Experience Burnsville is the theme of the Burnsville Convention and Visitors Bureau. (2 pages)
