Burncliff apartments reconstructed breaks ground with a new name 2009July 11, 2009 MInneapolis Star Tribune reports: The process of rebuilding the Burncliff Apartments in Burnsville destroyed by fire on December 22 began on Friday with the promise of a new look, a new name and some familiar faces. Nearly 200 people lost their homes and belongings in the fire. The following day an anonymous donor gave 1 million to the displaced residents, which was distributed on Christmas Eve.
