New post office, Savage hardware enlarged 1963

September 26, 1963 Minnesota Valley Review reports: Savage post office will move to new quarters in the Valley Shopping Center and the next day a new contract station of the Savage Post Office will open in the Jet Plaza Pharmacy in Burnsville.

Also, Bloomquist Hardware in Savage has moved to a new location in the Valley Shopping Center. Eventually, they would move to Burnsville.
